- Agreeing with the client the most suitable fire compartmentation systems and products. In this instance we moved away from the specified fire curtains to traditional block work with fire rates loft access hatches as this provided a more robust and cost-effective solution.
- We were able to mobilise within 10 working days of tender award due to local resources.
- Minimising noise for residents while working above their flats.
- Our Resident Liaison Officer agreed with residents the most convenient times to complete disruptive works
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
- Minimising disruption when working in communal areas to which residents still required access.
- We moved materials during quieter times of the day
- Installing safe access and egress to facilitate works.
- No materials or tools were left within these areas at any time during the works, and our in-house Health & Safety Officer completed a Fire Safety Plan.
- Working e.g. bricklaying, in very tight spaces with limited access with lofts boarded out to provide safe working platforms.

All our managers and supervisors complete the IFC Passive Fire Protection course and have a practical, working knowledge of Fire safety: Approved Document B – Building regulation in England covering fire safety matters within and around buildings. Operational teams receive manufacturer training in all the products we install. This, together with the certification we provide on completion evidences the quality of our works.
Our teams use the Bolster system app on mobile devices to manage and document the process of all our passive fire protection works. This includes photographic ‘before’ and ‘after’ evidence and ‘drop pins’ which identify on building diagrams where the work has been completed. Realtime access to works is provided to clients through a web portal. This provides instant access to works status and documentary evidence of standards.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1503″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
